FAIVELEY TRANSPORT GENNEVILLIERS ACQUIRED BY FLERTEX

As of February 21, 2017, the entire activities of FAIVELEY TRANSPORT GENNEVILLIERS (FTG), a subsidiary of the FAIVELEY TRANSPORT Group, were taken over by FLERTEX and from the effective date, it will be operating under the name FLERTEX SINTER.
FLERTEX designs and manufactures in France mainly organic friction materials for railway, industrial and aeronautical applications.
FLERTEX SINTER designs and manufactures in France sintered metal friction materials for railway, industrial, aeronautical, motorcycle, cycling and auto sport applications which still will be marketed under the brand name CL BRAKES.
As a result of this acquisition, the Group is in a position to offer to its customers a complete range of sintered metal and composite friction products as well as technical solutions and be a major player in various sectors of this market, mainly the railway sector.
The Group plans to retain the entire workforce and activities of FLERTEX SINTER and to invest in the modernization of its production facilities.
